Nadezhda McCune (born 1995) is a Bulgarian choral conductor and singer with international experience in ensemble leadership. From 2021 to 2024, she served as Chorus Master at Varna State Opera, preparing major choral-orchestral works including Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, Mozart’s Requiem, Orff’s Carmina Burana, as well as operas by Verdi, Puccini, and Wagner.

In the 2025–2026 season, she is engaged as a conductor of the Helsingør Chamber Choir and Hundige Choir in Denmark, focusing on Scandinavian repertoire. Her work focuses on vocal precision, musical clarity, and collaborative and friendly rehearsal processes.

Nadia has participated in advanced masterclasses with Frieder Bernius, Kaspars Putniņš, Yuval Weinberg and Krastin Nastev. Alongside conducting, she is an experienced singer with a strong interest in early music and jazz, and has performed internationally with the World Youth Choir, Junger Kammerchor Basel, Albarosa Chamber Choir and Sofia Chamber Choir.
She holds a Master’s degree in Choral Conducting from the National Academy of Music “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” in Sofia under the guidance of Prof. Theodora Pavlovitch, and has studied singing with Natasa Mirkovic, Ivanka Ninova, and Bodil Øland.
